Qubahan Engineering Journal (QENGJ) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing high-quality original research, review articles, and interdisciplinary studies within four principal subject areas: General Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering, Architecture, and General Arts and Humanities.

The journal welcomes theoretical, experimental, computational, applied, and interdisciplinary research that advances engineering knowledge, architectural practice, the built environment, and their relationships with society, culture, history, and human experience.

QENGJ particularly covers:

General Engineering — engineering design, materials, systems, modeling, optimization, manufacturing, sustainability, engineering management, applied technologies, and multidisciplinary engineering research.

Civil and Structural Engineering — structural analysis and design, construction engineering, infrastructure, geotechnical engineering, transportation, water and environmental engineering, structural materials, resilience, safety, and sustainable civil engineering.

Architecture — architectural design, building technology, urban design, sustainable architecture, housing, digital architecture, architectural theory, heritage, conservation, adaptive reuse, and built-environment studies.

General Arts and Humanities — interdisciplinary studies connecting engineering and architecture with history, culture, heritage, aesthetics, design, visual studies, philosophy, and human-centered approaches to the built environment.

QENGJ encourages research integrating engineering, architecture, and the humanities to address contemporary challenges in infrastructure, sustainability, resilience, heritage, design, and the development of culturally and socially responsive built environments.

Manuscripts should demonstrate a clear connection to at least one of the journal’s four stated subject areas.
